Social Work Policy: Books

Finding Books

Books on social work can be found in two main ways: by searching the online Southeastern Library Catalog and by browsing the library's collection.

When searching the online catalog, a basic search will let you search by keyword, title, author, subject or call number. An advanced search will let you search by a combination of these fields, as well as by format, language, location, and date.

Library of Congress Classifications

These Library of Congress classification areas may be useful when browsing the shelves at Steelman Library for materials on history. They are found on the second floor. You can use these same classifications in the reference section on the first (main) floor.

  • BF -- Counseling
  • H -- Social Sciences
