Introduction to Mass Communication: Journal Titles

Research Using Journals--Communication

You may need to find journal articles within a specific journal title.  Using the A-to-Z Journal List link below  (also found on the library web page under "Find Journal Titles") will accomplish this.  The title search looks for journal titles.

If you are looking for a specific journal title, enter the title in the top box.

If you want to browse the titles, select a letter of the alphabet.

To locate journals in Communication, click the subjects tab and then the down arrow to search by subject.  There is no specific heading for communications, but selecting "Science" then scrolling down and under "Transportation & Communication" are subtopics on "cellular telephone industry," "telecommunications industry," and "telephone industry."  Instead of selecting "Science," select "Telecommunication" then scroll down and under "Electrical Engineering" is the subtopic "telecommunication."  Selecting any of these terms produces a list of journal titles and where they are located.  With the exception of "Steelman Print Holdings," clicking on any location leads to the journal which can be searched by year, volume, and issue, or by topic in some databases.  "Steelman Print Holdings" indicates the library has a print subscription of the journal.
