Printing in the Library

Campus Card Printing

  1. Every Monday, $4 is added to your student Fire Card print account.
  2. Scan to email is always free.
  3. You can add additional money with the Campus Card Box or MyFire Account.
  4. Logon with your Campus ID and username.
  5. Users must connect to the Southeastern WiFi network, not the public SEU WiFi.
  6. When you press Print you should be prompted for your user ID.
  7. Check Card Balance 

 

Remote Printing from a Mobile Device

  1. Compose an email to mobileprint@seu.edu from any device and attach document to print.
  2. Your first time printing you will get a "Welcome to MobilePrint!" email to register your email address.
    NOTE: You must be connected to Southeastern WiFi to authenticate your email address.
    NOTE: You can register your email address from any network connected computer.
  3. Slide you SEU card on any printer to release your print job.

Claiming your Printouts from a Printer

  1. Make sure you are connected to the Southeastern WiFi, NOT SEU-Guest.
  2. Select SEU_Remote.
  3. Set B&W or Color.
  4. Click Print.
  5. Enter your user ID at the popup.
    Check popup blockers if you miss this step.
    If you don't see the popup, try changing your wifi to SEU then back to Southeastern
  6. Go to Steelman Library, ACE, and/or B&E second-floor lounge area.
  7. Use your SEU ID card or purchased print card to swipe at the print release station.

Please note:

  • Once you have printed to the print release station, you have two hours to release your print job.

How To Print

To Print:

  1. Swipe student ID card 
    • For first time use, enter login password 
  2. To print all documents:
    • Select, "Print All"
  3. To print one documents: 
    • Select document (document should be highlighted in yellow
    • Press the blue "START" button 
  4. Logout 

To Scan 1 document:

  1. Swipe ID card
    • For first time use enter login password
    • See below to scan more than one document
  2. Press, "Menu" button  
  3. Select, "Scan/Fax" button 
  4. Select, "Direct Input" 
  5. Select, "Email"
    • Must be sent to a SEU account
  6. Place paper in top tray face up
  7. Press blue "START" button 
  8. Logout 

To Scan Multiple Documents:

  1. Repeat steps 1-5 above
  2. Select, "Application" 
  3. Select, "Separate Scan" (there should be a yellow circle in the top right hand corner of the icon indicating app is on) 
  4. After each scanned document select, "START".
    • Once all the documents are all scanned, select, "Finish." 
    • Press “START” again to send
  5. Logout 

To Copy 1 Document:

  1. Swipe ID card 
    • For first time use enter login password 
    • See below to copy multiple documents
  2. Press "Menu" button 
  3. Select, "Copy" 
  4. Select color preference
  5. Place paper in top tray face up
    • Or place item on scanning surface 
  6. Press “START
  7. Logout 

To Copy Multiple Documents:

  1. Repeat steps 1-4 above
  2. Select, "Application"
  3. Select, "Separate Scan" (there should be a yellow circle in the top right hand corner of the icon- indicating app is on) 
  4. Place first item on scanning surface and press “START”.
    • Wait for copier to finish scanning before removing item.
  5. Repeat step 4 as needed.
  6.  Once the documents are all copied, select, "Finish" and then press “START” to print.
  7. Logout 

To shrink oversized projects:

  1. Swipe ID card 
    • For first time use enter login password 
  2. Press "Menu" button 
  3. Select, "Copy" or "Scan/Fax" 
  4. Select, "Zoom"
  5. Select desired setting 
  6. Select color preference 
  7. Select, "START
  8. Logout
